Enjoy a trip back through time and discover the fascinating history of some of the prominent historical buildings and sites around town. This brochure has a map with the historical locations marked out for you to follow as well as a brief note about each location.

This would be a great little trip to take the family on to get a little glimpse of how things used to be in Nathalia and to learn some of the local history of our beautiful little town.

 

Nathalia Historical Archives & Museum

Nathalia & District Historical Society Museum is located at the Nathalia Historical Precinct which includes the Mechanics Institute that was built in 1887. While visiting you will come across an extensive collection of farm machinery and artefacts that have been used in this district, including unique and very rare range of harvesting machinery and horse drawn implements.


Our museum is open from 1.30pm to 4pm on the second Sunday of the month or by arrangement.
